When Amy and Ryan Jackson lost their baby daughter, Lily Mae, in February 2010, they dedicated themselves to supporting other bereaved parents facing similar tragedies. Just weeks after their loss, they founded The Lily Mae Foundation, which became a registered charity in 2012 to address the needs of families in the West Midlands affected by stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage, or medical termination. With one in four pregnancies ending in loss, their work is crucial. The Foundation provides essential support services, including memory boxes, one-on-one bereavement support, monthly support groups, and specialized resources for siblings. Over the past 12 years, they have helped over 26,000 people navigate their grief, making a profound impact on the mental health and well-being of bereaved families in their community.
