Stuart Bratt

Stuart (Stu) Bratt is a remarkable individual who founded the charity Tough Enough To Care in 2019 after the tragic loss of two friends to suicide within just four days. Channeling his grief into a passion for helping others, he is dedicated to removing the stigma surrounding mental ill health. Over the past five years, Stuart has delivered mental health and suicide awareness training, often during evenings and weekends, making it accessible for all. His efforts have saved countless lives, providing crucial support in local communities, workplaces, schools, and sports clubs. Through his work, Stuart has empowered many, particularly men, to be more open about mental health, resulting in a significant shift in attitudes and a local reduction in individuals struggling in silence.
