I had the pleasure of attending as High Sheriff of the West Midlands, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Civic Service. It was a lovely occasion which was filled with a sense of reverence and community spirit. The service, hosted by the Lord Mayor at St Martin in the Bullring, was a true reflection of the values that underpin a vibrant and inclusive city like Birmingham. As I joined fellow attendees in honouring the Lord Mayor’s dedication to public service and civic engagement.
The Civic Service served as a platform to celebrate the Lord Mayor’s unwavering commitment to promoting diversity, inclusivity, and social cohesion within the city.
