This week I represented the West Midlands as the High Sheriff at the prestigious High Sheriff in nomination annual event held at the historic Eastnor Castle. The purpose of the day was to ready and onboard those stepping into the role of the High Sheriff in 2025 in their respective Counties.
It was also great to meet with fellow High Sheriffs in the class of 2024/25 and other distinguished delegates including those representing the High Sheriff Association. I had the opportunity of addressing the meeting and offering insights from my tenure to date. The exchange of experience and protocols was truly enlightening. I also took a moment to reflect that I have already served six months of my term in office.
Thank you to everybody involved in organising a great day which will undoubtedly assist all the High Sheriffs in nomination when they are declared into office next year in 2025.
