On Tuesday night we were delighted to bring Kids’ Village to the Black Country where we held a briefing event at the iconic Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. Thanks to the team for very generously hosting us and doing it in such style.
It was brilliant to share the inspiring story behind the Charity and to update everyone on our journey so far as we look to create a respite holiday village for children with critical illness (and their families). It will also be a UK first and here in the Midlands too.
This project is very dear to my heart. I had a car accident 38 years ago and my take from it is that you never know when you might need help from a Charity.
Special thanks to the legend Ninder Johal DL for his closing remarks, which left a lasting impact on all.
We now need to raise £5 million to build this.
