James Brindley Foundation – Tuesday 22nd October 2024

Today I had the great pleasure of visiting the James Brindley foundation which is based very locally to me in Aldridge. The foundation was set up following the tragic death of their son James who was the innocent victim of a knife crime seven years ago.
The foundation is a best in class example of the resilience of James’ family and how they have used all their energy and personal experience to positively influence and educate people about knife crime. Mark has now dedicated his life to helping others who have gone through similar situations and to pro-actively educate our community about knife crime and all the impact of such. Our meeting was primarily centred around how we can increase the reach and impact of this foundation which truly aligns with the values of what I wish to achieve as High Sheriff in my shrieval year.
I look forward to helping this foundation across my High Sheriff year and also within my own small restaurant company.
