It was inspiring to reflect on the Guild’s rich history, dating back to the 1340s, when apprentices were granted the Freedom of the City after completing their training. The Freemen’s Guild continues to play a significant role in promoting apprenticeships and supporting local charities and making a positive impact on the community.
During the service we took a moment to honour the contributions of the Freemen’s Guild and its dedication to empowering the next generation through opportunities in Coventry. It was a pleasure to be part of the procession and to witness the pride and commitment of everyone involved.
