On Friday, I was invited by the Mayor of Dudley to a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols Service at St. Paul’s Church in Halesowen as High Sheriff of the West Midlands.
Led by Reverend Mark Danks the service included nine readings, all read by local people, and nine carols. It was a wonderful way to embrace the Christmas spirit and come together as a community.
I also enjoyed looking round the Christmas Tree Festival within the church which featured over 50 beautifully decorated trees created by various local groups. 🌲✨ The creativity and community spirit on display were truly inspiring.
A big thank you to the Mayor of Dudley and everyone involved in making this evening so special.
