The event was a testament to the power of music in fostering community cohesion and celebrating diversity. Ranjit’s Punjabi music embodies a message of unity and inclusivity bringing people from all backgrounds together. It was truly heart warming to see individuals coming together to support one another and embrace the spirit of care and love, as highlighted in the song. It was a pleasure to be invited and I was made so very welcome. I look forward to returning to other similar community events in Smethwick in my year as High Sheriff.
