I had the honour as High Sheriff of the West Midlands of joining Deputy Chief Constable Scott Green and celebrating the remarkable achievements of our policing community at the West Midlands Police Excellence Awards.
It was a wonderful event where we rightly celebrated the very best about policing here in the West Midlands. It was a real pleasure to meet all the wider members of the policing community.
I had the privilege of presenting the Cadet of the Year award witnessing the passion and dedication of these young cadets who are the future of policing. The sense of camaraderie in the room was inspiring. A huge thank you to West Midlands Police for inviting me to be a part of this special evening.
