As High Sheriff of the West Midlands, it was an honour to attend the inauguration of Cllr Linda Leach as the 165th Mayor of Wolverhampton and the 12th female Mayor.
The appointment as Mayor reflects her dedication to serving the community and her commitment to upholding the values of Wolverhampton. Her passion for the city and its residents was evident in her acceptance speech where she outlined her theme for her year ‘Every Person Matters’.
It was also great to meet key personal representing Wolverhampton for West Midlands Police and West Midlands Fire Service pictured below.
