Today as High Sheriff of the West Midlands, I had the pleasure of meeting June Harvey, a remarkable woman who is celebrating her 100th birthday! 
June was awarded a BEM last year for her services to the community and it’s easy to see why.
June was awarded a BEM last year for her services to the community and it’s easy to see why.From her time as a nurse at Birmingham Children’s Hospital during WWII to her involvement in youth work and charity work, June has dedicated her life to helping others. She has touched the lives of so many, including her own family who affectionately call her GG.
It’s truly inspiring to see someone so full of life and kindness at 100 years old. Happy birthday June, thank you for all that you do for others. A true community champion.
