I had the distinct honour of visiting the Greek School of Apostolos Andreas and the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of The Dormition of the Theotokos. This visit was particularly special as we celebrated the school’s remarkable 70th anniversary and its recognition as the Supplementary and Independent School of the Year in 2024.
The day began with my arrival at the Cathedral, where I was warmly welcomed by Petro Nicolaides, the Chairman of the Greek School. I had the privilege of attending part of a wonderful assembly where I had the opportunity to address the enthusiastic students, who showcased a remarkable passion for learning and their cultural heritage. After the assembly I enjoyed a guided tour of both the school and the stunning Cathedral.
