Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Civic Service at St. Martin in the Bull Ring to mark the COVID-19 National Day of Reflection. It was a deeply poignant occasion, bringing together our community to remember, reflect and respond to the impact of the pandemic.
The service was beautifully led by Rev’d Jeremy Allcock, with heartfelt music performed by the Choir With No Name. Their rendition of “Tender” and “All My Love” resonated deeply, reminding us of the power of music to heal and connect us.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event possible. Together, we honour the memories of those we lost and reaffirm our commitment to supporting one another.
