As the High Sheriff of the West Midlands, I had a wonderful time at a lunch event at Packington Hall, where we got to learn all about the new Maggie’s Centre opening in Coventry.
Maggie’s is all about providing essential support for people affected by cancer, and the upcoming centre at University Hospital Coventry will be a game-changer for our community. It was inspiring to hear from Laura Lee, the CEO of Maggie’s, who shared the vision for the centre and how it will help those navigating their cancer journeys.
The lunch brought together so many passionate people dedicated to making a difference. I’m excited to see Maggie’s bring their unique blend of emotional and practical support to Coventry. All to ensure that those facing cancer have the resources and community they need.
