I had the privilege of visiting @The Fairer Futures Programme, a collaboration between Your Co-op and Miss Macaroon, to deliver a Mentor Talk for the cohort. The aim was to help the young individuals in the West Midlands, particularly in Walsall, fulfil the requirements of their Customer Service Experiences Unit for their BTEC Level 1 in work skills.
It was truly rewarding to see the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants as they engaged in discussions about customer service and overcoming challenges in the workplace. I am proud to have been a part of their journey towards gaining valuable skills and experiences.
It was also wonderful to have the opportunity to speak with Zachary, a graduate of the programme and now a current employee of the co-op! It was truly a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet him once again after finding work and thriving with confidence.
Here’s to a brighter future for these young individuals as they continue to grow and develop in their professional endeavours! Congratulations to Rosie on dedicating her life to improve the lives of others.
