Please find attached my monthly newsletter for August. It’s been a wonderful month where I have undertaken many different events and Court visits which I hope you enjoy reading about. Please do share our work and let us know if you have any suggestions for organisations or events that might enjoy a visit from the High Sheriff.

I would like to finish by saying a very fond farewell to our outgoing Lord-Lieutenant, Sir John Crabtree CVO CBE and thank him for his exceptional seven years of service. I am also delighted to welcome Derrick Anderson CBE as our new Lord-Lieutenant and wish him great success.
