I was delighted to visit the Queen Elizabeth Crown Court in Birmingham and recognise the exceptional contribution of a number of members of HMCTS staff who have made vital contributions to the Courts operations over an extended period of time.
I presented High Sheriff Awards to the following:
Cynthia Lewis – 46 years
Sally Roberts – 39 years
Ash Patel – 38 years
Rekha Parmar – 35 years
Mini Minhas – 31 years
It was super to be joined by a number of the Judges, including the Recorder of Birmingham HHJ Smith KC, to celebrate the achievements and service of these individuals.
