High Sheriff Awards
Awards
The High Sheriff can give Awards to recognise the work of individuals or community groups within the county.
These awards are a way of recognising and celebrating the work of individuals and organisations who have made outstanding contributions to the communities in which they live or work and whose work might not otherwise have attracted appreciation from the normal sources.
Nominations can be made by, and for, anyone who lives or works in the West Midlands, whether in the public, voluntary and charitable or private sectors.
All nominations will be treated in the strictest confidence and nominees should not be informed that they have been nominated as it can be very disappointing to raise expectations if they are not then met.
Nominations for the High Sheriff Awards 2025 will be opened in September.
