Carol Goff
Carol Goff is the Chairperson and a founding member of Ideal for All, a pioneering user-led organization for disabled individuals in Sandwell. With over 28 years of dedicated service, Carol has been instrumental in developing the charity and advancing services that meet the needs of disabled and marginalized people in one of the West Midlands’ most deprived areas.
Her efforts include co-designing the Independent Living Centre in Smethwick and transforming over seven acres of derelict land into thriving community gardening sites. Carol’s commitment to empowering others is evident in her support for fellow trustees and disabled individuals, helping them become future leaders.
Despite facing personal challenges, including chronic pain and caregiving responsibilities, Carol provides a kind smile and a listening ear to countless individuals. Her tireless advocacy has ensured equitable access to services, empowering over 41,000 disabled individuals. Carol truly deserves recognition for her lifetime of hard work and dedication to making life better for all.
