David John Payne
David John Payne has made an extraordinary contribution to the communities of West Bromwich and Aldridge. For over 40 years, he has run the 14th West Bromwich Boys Brigade, positively impacting countless young men by supporting their career and life development. He played a crucial role in establishing and maintaining their camping center in Wales, providing enriching experiences for youth.
In addition to his work with the Brigade, David has served as a magistrate for 35 years, demonstrating his commitment to justice and community service. He has been the chairman and trustee of The George Thomas Henry Salter Trust charity for 22 years, benefiting the people of Sandwell. His roles as a school governor, children’s reading listener, church steward and treasurer, and president of the local dramatic society further showcase his dedication. David’s tireless efforts have significantly enriched the West Midlands, and he deserves recognition for his exceptional service.
