⭐️ Proud moment at Summerhill School in Dudley. As the High Sheriff of the West Midlands, I had the honour of presenting a special High Sheriff Award to the remarkable Finley, a Year 8 student.
After bravely battling Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and facing critical illness in 2024, Finley has turned his experience into a force for good. He has already raised over £2500 for Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham and the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, both which supported him and his family during their tough times.
I am inspired by Finley’s dedication to charity. His next target? The sky’s the limit!
