I had the pleasure of visiting Harbans Singhs & Co in Oldbury to present Gurpreet Bhatia DL with a High Sheriff Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to our community.
Gurpreet has been a Partner at Harbans Singh & Co Solicitors since 2000, specialising in Commercial/Residential Property Law and Immigration Law. He is involved in the Management of the practice and was involved in the recent re-location of the entire team to Oldbury.
Beyond his legal practice, Gurpreet is deeply passionate about community work. He serves as a Trustee of Legacy WM and is an Executive Member of the Sant Nirankari Mission, a registered charity that collaborates with the National Blood Service to promote blood donation initiatives and works to encourage conservation and environmental work across the Country. Gurpreet serves the region as a Deputy Lieutenant and the Deputy Chair of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, were he has supported the widening of engagement with all communities. Furthermore, Gurpreet is a Trustee of the Commonwealth Sports Foundation and has recently endeavored to promote indigenous sport within the Commonwealth Sport framework.
It was an honour to acknowledge Gurpreet’s hard work and dedication to fostering community spirit and support. His commitment to making a positive impact is truly inspiring and I am grateful for his efforts in uplifting those around him.
Thank you, Gurpreet, for your commitment to our community.
