I was delighted to visit Coventry Magistrates Court to present a High Sheriff’s award to Pete Owen to mark the fact that he has completed 50 year’s service as a legal adviser.
Peter started his career as an Office Manager in Leamington with no legal experience, but he then decided to complete a law degree and become a Legal Adviser in the Magistrates Courts. Pete is now recognised across the UK as the “go to person” in relation to any matter to do with Youth Courts.
It was great to share this occasion with his wife and his many colleagues in Coventry who continue to benefit from his expertise and wisdom.
