I was delighted to return to the Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre to present a High Sheriff’s Award to the CLIPS team.
This group of staff from the High Court team have been instrumental in the planning and organising a Court list that involves arranging free legal advice for litigants in persons, for cases at Court prior to the hearing.
The team have worked with other staff and the Judiciary to arrange these lists such that hearings are more effective and that vulnerable parties are able to obtain relevant legal advice, making their experience of the Court more accessible.
