I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful afternoon with the Mayor of Sandwell, sharing tea, cakes and conversation while learning more about the borough’s fascinating history and the role of the Mayoral Office.
The Mayor’s theme of Togetherness was reflected throughout our discussions, and it was inspiring to hear her passion for the people, heritage and future of Sandwell.
A tour of the Mayor’s Parlour provided a fascinating insight into the traditions of civic life and the rich history of the area.
