I had an really enjoyable visit to the Black Country Living Museum and was given a tour of the site by the Chief Executive Andrew Lovett OBE.
The BCLM is a real jewel in the visitor economy of the West Midlands attracting nearly 400,000 visitors every year. This includes a significant number of school children who are provided with a hugely enjoyable insight in to the proud history of the Black Country.
I also had an opportunity to discuss the critically important role played by volunteers and the potential opportunities for young people get valuable work experience.
