High Sheriff Events

I enjoyed a most enjoyable evening at Symphony Hall as a guest of the Chief Constable of West Midlands Police, for the BPSO’s annual Proms Night Spectacular.

The BPSO is an orchestra comprising volunteers who are either serving or retired officers, police staff and other members of the wider police family drawn from forces across the UK.

The programme for the evening was a joyous mix from Mussorgsky and Stravinsky through to a Suite from How to Train Your Dragon which had been arranged by one of the members of the Orchestra.

I was very proud of the role played by a number of my WM Police Cadets who supported the event by selling programmes and raffle tickets to raise funds for a range of good causes.
