I had a really interesting visit to the CFO Activity Hub in Wolverhampton with the Mayor, where we were hosed by Mel Eves.
This facility is part of a national network of Activity Hubs which provide community based voluntary support centres funded by the HMPPS Creating Future Opportunities programme, aiming to help individuals on probation reintegrate into society by offering a safe and supportive space to develop skills, access training and find employment.
It was great to meet a number of the service users who spoke very positively about how this facility in Wolverhampton and the people who work within it, are helping them to get their lives back on track.
