I was delighted to join volunteers from the Walsall Community Association who put on a wonderful Christmas Lunch for local residents from across the community in Walsall.
We were treated to a wonderful nativity play before lunch from local schoolchildren and then enjoyed a wonderful Lunch cooked by the team for many residents who might not otherwise get to enjoy such a meal. In addition the joyful atmosphere in the room ensure that everyone had a wonderful start to their Christmas festivities.
I was delighted to present some flowers to the Chair of the Association in recognition of all the hard work that she had put in to making the event a success and to the oldest attendee who has just turned 100 years old.
