High Sheriff Events

On Sunday, I had the great pleasure of attending the Civic Service in the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, held at the beautiful Holy Trinity Parish Church.

Civic services are always special occasions, bringing together people from across a community to celebrate service, commitment and the shared values that help our towns and cities thrive. This year’s gathering was a wonderful example of that spirit in action.

I was delighted to join civic leaders, representatives of public services, faith leaders, community organisations, volunteers and residents from across Sutton Coldfield. The service provided an opportunity not only to reflect on the many contributions made by individuals and organisations throughout the year, but also to give thanks for the dedication shown by those who work tirelessly to support others.

As High Sheriff, I am continually inspired by the countless individuals who give their time, energy and expertise in service of others. Events such as this remind us that strong communities are built upon kindness, generosity and a willingness to contribute to the common good. Sutton Coldfield has much to be proud of in this regard.
