High Sheriff Events

It was a great privilege to attend the Collation and Induction of the Reverend Becky Reeve as Rector of Holy Trinity, Sutton Coldfield.

The service was both joyful and inspiring, bringing together clergy, parishioners, civic representatives, family, friends, and members of the wider community to mark this important occasion in the life of the church. I was delighted to witness such a warm welcome for Becky as she formally began this new chapter of ministry.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Rt Revd Michael Volland, Bishop of Birmingham, for leading such a thoughtful and uplifting service. His words reflected both the significance of the occasion and the vital role that the Church continues to play within our communities.

Throughout the evening, it was evident that Becky has already made a profound impact on the people around her. The affection, respect and enthusiasm shown by those gathered spoke volumes about her commitment to serving others and her ability to bring people together. Time and again, I heard stories of her compassion, energy and dedication to building strong relationships within the community.

I wish Becky every success and blessing in her ministry and look forward to seeing the continued impact of her work within the parish and the wider community.
