I had a lovely, albeit somewhat chilly morning, with the Crescent Archers at Ackers Adventures in Small Heath.
This project has been going for a number of years and encourages people of all ages / backgrounds to tray Archery. High quality coaching is provided by the inspirational Jamila Bi and it is a great way to learn new skills, enjoy being outside and socialise in a really friendly and supportive environment.
As High Sheriff, it feels like Archery skills might be an important attribute and I was somewhat pleased by the three shots below, albeit I wasn’t standing too far away from the target !
