It was a real pleasure to visit Foundation 2 Change in Digbeth and spend time with Jay Arnold, Marty Gallager and Andrew Shelton and some of the people they have supported.
Foundation 2 Change is a remarkable lived-experience-led organisation helping people affected by addiction, homelessness, poor mental health and involvement with the criminal justice system to rebuild their lives and realise their potential. Their holistic approach; combining rehabilitation, community support, housing assistance, wellbeing activities, training and pathways into employment, creates genuine opportunities for lasting change.
I was particularly impressed by the progress the organisation has made in such a short time and by the passion, commitment and vision of the whole team. Their work demonstrates the power of hope, compassion and lived experience in transforming lives and strengthening communities.
