I was pleased to be able to attend a Holocaust Memorial Service at the Civic Centre in Solihull along with Carmen Watson DL, JP and the Mayor of Solihull Councillor Annette Mackenzie.
The speakers included WM Police Commander for Solihull Chief Superintendent Richard Harris, Rabbi Yehuda Pink and Holocaust educator Martin Hyman, all of whom spoke very positively about the Holocaust and the need for us to remember and learn from these horrific events.
Musicians from Solihull School and Pupils from St Augustine’s Catholic school also contributed to the service.
