It was a tremendous pleasure to attend the inauguration of the Mayor of Wolverhampton, Paul Singh, alongside Mayoress Ranjit Dhillon, at what proved to be a truly memorable and uplifting occasion for the community.
The evening was marked by an exceptional sense of community spirit, bringing together residents, civic leaders, charities and supporters from across Wolverhampton in celebration of public service and community partnership. The warmth and positivity throughout the event reflected the strong values and shared purpose that continue to define our city.
The venue provided a wonderful setting for the occasion, with guests enjoying outstanding hospitality and an excellent selection of food that contributed greatly to the celebratory atmosphere. It was clear that a great deal of care and effort had gone into creating such a welcoming and inclusive event.
A particular highlight of the evening was the charity auction, which successfully raised funds for several outstanding organisations doing invaluable work within our communities. Support was generated for Wolverhampton Judo Club, Through Sports We Grow, The Friends of Di’s Kitchen and Inspire You – all charities and initiatives that make a meaningful difference to the lives of many people across the region.
I would like to extend my congratulations to Mayor Paul Singh and Mayoress Ranjit Dhillon and wish them every success for the year ahead. I have no doubt they will serve the city with great dedication, compassion and pride.
