I was delighted to attend the Mayor of Walsall’s Christmas Carol Service which took place at St Matthew’s Church in Walsall.
It was a lovely service which was attended by a number of the Lord Mayors and Mayors from across the County of the West Midlands, as well a number of Deputy Lieutenants.
After the service, the Mayors handed out gifts to local Children as part of the traditional Bun and Shilling Ceremony which is a tradition in Walsall that goes back to 1553.
I was pleased to be accompanied to the service by Charlotte, my WM Police Cadet for Walsall.
