I had a really interesting and enjoyable meeting today with the new Consul General for Romania for the Midlands region at her new offices which have just opened in Birmingham. There is a significant number of people with Romanian heritage who live in our County and Mihaela is here to support them in a wide range of areas.
I was keen to understand the work that is being undertaken with young people in the Romanian Community and to explore whether we could increase representation from this Community within our Justice system.
