I was pleased to be able to make a return visit to the Magistrates Court in Wolverhampton to attend the Swearing In Ceremony for 5 new magistrates who will be going the Black Country bench. I thanked the magistrates for volunteering to take on this critically important role and congratulated them on successfully passing the rigorous selection process.
I then visited the Crown Court to observe a significant trial and meet up with a number of the Judges and HMCTS staff who work incredibly hard to ensure the justice system operates as efficiently as possible.
