I was delighted to support the annual NSPCC Midlands Fundraising Ball held at the ICC in Birmingham.
It was an extremely enjoyable evening, but at the same time, all those present were reminded of the critically important work that is undertaken by the NSPCC, including through the Childline facility, to support young people at particularly difficult times in their lives.
Therefore it was so encouraging that through the generosity of those present, the event raised a record £58,000 to support the vital work of the NSPCC in the Midlands.
