It was a real pleasure to attend a production by the Side by Side Theatre Company at Stourbridge Town Hall.
Side by Side was established in1997 and for 28 years, it has been providing adults with learning difficulties and special educational needs with opportunities to develop their life skills through the performing arts. This is achieved through weekly sessions for drama, dance, music and digital media and it all comes together with a major full scale production which takes place each year.
I was so impressed by the ambition and execution of this production, the fabulous work done by so many volunteers who contribute in a wide variety of ways and most important of all, the joy which the circa 50 participants got from performing.
