It was a great pleasure to attend the Year 6 Graduation Ceremony at Stanton Bridge Primary School, where I joined pupils, families, governors and staff in celebrating this important milestone.
The ceremony was exceptionally well organised, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere that reflected the pride felt by everyone present. My sincere thanks go to the Headteacher, Mrs Islam OBE, and her dedicated staff for hosting such a memorable occasion and for the commitment they show every day in supporting their pupils to achieve their very best.
It was wonderful to see the Year 6 pupils recognised for all they have achieved during their time at the school as they prepare to move on to the next stage of their educational journey.
I was particularly impressed by the exemplary behaviour of the children throughout the event. They conducted themselves with confidence, respect and maturity, demonstrating that they are more than ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
The ceremony was made even more memorable by some truly outstanding performances. The pupils delighted the audience with amazing dance routines and beautiful singing, showcasing not only their talent but also the enthusiasm, teamwork and confidence that have clearly been nurtured during their time at Stanton Bridge Primary School.
