Earlier in my shrieval year. I had the honour of attending the installation service for the wonderful Bishop Esther of Aston. I then had an opportunity to introduce Bishop Esther to the Aston Villa Foundation to enable her to learn more about the great work that they are doing in the local community in a range of different areas.
The Foundation were kind enough to invite Bishop Esther and me to join them for the game vs West Ham, which was the annual “more than a game” fixture where we had the opportunity to connect with other people in the area who are working with the Foundation.
It was a super occasion and a great result for Villa supporters, of which the Bishop of Aston is definitely now one.
