I visited the NSPCC offices in Birmingham and met a number of members of staff as well as members of the Business Board who support the charity in their fundraising efforts.
I learnt more about critical work that is being done through Childline and the Helpline facilities and the brilliant support provided by a significant number of volunteers to ensure that these services are available to those who need them, at a time when they are feeling particularly vulnerable.
NSPCC is very proud of the fact that it does not rely on significant amounts of government funding for its work, but relies on the generous support of the public.
