I had a most enjoyable visit to the Albany Theatre in Coventry to attend a performance of Beauty & the Beast as a guest of the Chair, David Meredith, who also happens to be a Magistrate on the Coventry and Warwickshire Bench.
It was really encouraging to see how the Theatre buildings have been renovated and repurposed to provide spaces for young people from the city to develop their skills in the theatrical arts. In addition the majority of the cast in the performance were also local amateur actors.
I was pleased to be accompanied by Liv, one of my WM Police Cadets.
