I had a really enjoyable visit to the Black Country YMCA headquarters in Wolverhampton, accompanied by the Mayor, Councillor Craig Collingswood,
We were shown around the different facilities and services offered by the YMCA, starting with the heavily utilised Nursery which supports families with pre school aged children.
The building also includes a range of accommodation for people aged 16-35 which provides safe housing for over 160 people across the various facilities in the Black County.
In addition the YMCA is providing a range of training and education services and support through Counselling and Mentoring for a signifiant number of young people in the region.
