I was delighted to visit the University of Warwick for the Law School’s summer graduation celebrations and to share such a special occasion with students, their families, friends and university staff.
Graduation is always a wonderful milestone, marking not only years of hard work and commitment but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter. It was particularly inspiring to hear some of the students’ individual stories and learn about the different journeys that had brought them to this moment. Their determination, ambition and enthusiasm for the future were fantastic to see.
There was a real sense of pride throughout the day as graduates celebrated their achievements surrounded by those who had supported them along the way. I have no doubt that many will go on to make a real difference within the legal profession and beyond.
I also thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic lunch and the opportunity to spend time speaking with colleagues from the University and Law School about their work and the experiences of their students.
A huge thank you to Jamie King and Inca Hide-Wright for their excellent hospitality and for making me feel so welcome throughout my visit. It was a pleasure to join everyone at Warwick for such a memorable occasion and to celebrate the achievements of this year’s Law School graduates.
My congratulations to all those who graduated, and I wish them every success as they take their next steps.
