During April, I had the pleasure of meeting with the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, Simon Foster, together with Natalie Queiroz MBE, Victims’ Advocate, and Deputy Chief Executive Alethea Fuller. Our conversation explored shared priorities including policing, tackling crime, and strengthening prevention and rehabilitation across the region.
As High Sheriff, and with a particular focus on supporting women and girls, I was encouraged to see the strong alignment with efforts to ensure that victims’ voices are heard and supported, and that our communities remain safe, inclusive and resilient. I look forward to building on this partnership over the months ahead.
