I was delighted to join the Acting Chief Constable Scott Green at Tally Ho for the Passing Out Parade for the two most recent cohorts of Police Officers who have successfully completed their 22 week induction training programme.
It was a splendid occasion, shared with family and friends, to celebrate their achievements before they start their work at their designated stations across the County.
The Acting Chief Constable spoke powerfully to the new officers to congratulate them on graduating and to remind them of their responsibilities to serve the community without fear or favour in line with the attestation they make on becoming members of West Midlands Police.
I was really pleased to be joined at the Parade by my Cadet Charlotte.
