It was a real pleasure to be invited to attend the West Midlands Ambulance Service’s annual Excellence in the Community Awards.
The awards ceremony highlighted the amazing work done by Volunteers and members of the Public in helping to save lives during the year as well as recognising those who have given extended periods of service.
I was particularly delighted to be given the opportunity to join the Chief Executive Anthony Marsh in recognising a number of children who demonstrated huge bravery and skill in helping members of their family.
